Raccoon Mayhem · Privacy
Privacy Policy.
Effective date: September 9, 2026
OMEGACORTEX LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) develops and publishes Raccoon Mayhem. This policy explains how information is handled in the current game and when you contact us for game support.
Information processed during gameplay
Raccoon Mayhem processes headset and controller positions, rotations, button inputs, and movement information to control your raccoon, display your reflection, and operate gameplay interactions. This processing occurs on your device during play. During local multiplayer, relevant gameplay information is also exchanged with participating devices as described below.
The game stores progress locally on your device, including a generated profile identifier, star balances, owned and equipped cosmetics, collected items, and discovered rewards. These records allow your progress to remain available between sessions. The current game does not provide publisher-operated cloud accounts or cloud synchronization.
Optional microphone feature
If you enable the microphone feature and grant microphone permission, the game briefly processes microphone audio on your device to detect sound levels and trigger Pip’s reactions.
The current feature does not transcribe speech, identify speakers, send microphone audio to us or other players, or save audio recordings to disk. Audio is held in a short, continuously overwritten memory buffer.
You can disable this feature using its in-game toggle or revoke microphone permission in your device settings. Microphone access is not required for the main gameplay.
Local multiplayer
If you host or join a local multiplayer session, the game exchanges information with participating devices on the same network. This includes session identifiers, display names, avatar appearance, headset and controller poses, relevant controller inputs, object movements, activity results, and connection information such as local IP addresses and ports.
This information is used to connect players and synchronize the shared game. Other participants can see your display name, avatar, movements, and shared actions. The current game does not provide internet matchmaking or network voice chat.
Local multiplayer traffic is not encrypted by the game. Use a network you trust. Leaving the session stops participation in its ongoing gameplay exchanges.
Support information
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to provide, such as your message, headset model, game version, screenshots, or diagnostic logs. We use this information to respond, investigate problems, and provide support.
Please avoid sending passwords, payment information, or unnecessary personal information, particularly information about children.
Support correspondence is handled through the email and service providers we use to receive and respond to messages.
Advertising and data sharing
The current game does not include advertising, advertising trackers, or publisher-operated gameplay analytics. We do not sell personal information or use game information for targeted advertising.
Information may be disclosed to service providers as necessary to handle support, or when reasonably necessary to meet legal obligations, protect rights, or address security incidents. Local multiplayer information is shared with participating devices as described above.
Meta and device services
Meta independently operates the headset platform, accounts, store, permissions, and system services. Its processing is governed by its own privacy policies and your platform settings.
If you use platform casting, recording, or livestreaming features, gameplay—including other players’ visible names and actions—may be captured or shared through those services. Device or platform backup features may also retain app data according to their settings and policies.
This policy covers our game and game-support handling. It does not describe data processing by the corporate website or other linked services.
Children and families
Raccoon Mayhem is intended for a mixed-age audience, including children aged 10–12 where permitted by the platform. It is not intended for children under 10.
The current game does not ask players to provide their real name, date of birth, email address, or payment information to play. Parents and guardians should manage children’s access through the applicable platform account and parental controls.
Parents or guardians may contact us about information their child has provided to us and request access or deletion. If we learn that a child under 10 has provided personal information directly to us, we will take appropriate steps to delete it unless retention is legally required. We will also address information provided by other children where its collection or retention is not permitted by applicable law.
Retention and deletion
Local progress remains on your device until the app’s stored data is deleted. Clearing that data removes progress, including stars and cosmetics. Platform backups may restore data; manage those separately through the platform’s available controls.
To remove local progress, use your device’s app-data deletion controls where available. If you cannot find those controls, email us for help with your headset model. We cannot remotely erase data stored only on your headset.
Live multiplayer state is maintained for operating the session rather than as a publisher-hosted gameplay history. We do not receive or maintain a central copy of your local saved progress.
We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve requests and related issues, or meet applicable legal obligations.
Your privacy choices and requests
Users in any region may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by us by emailing ivan@omegacortex.ai with the subject “Raccoon Mayhem Privacy Request.” Parents and guardians may submit requests on behalf of their children.
There is no fee for requesting deletion. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify the request, without requesting unnecessary sensitive information.
If we must retain particular information for a legal obligation or legal claim, we will explain the reason and limit retention accordingly.
Depending on your location, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy of information, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data-protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the game’s data practices change and revise the effective date. If we introduce internet multiplayer, cloud saves, account services, analytics, or additional voice features, we will describe the relevant processing and obtain consent where required.
